Supplements Explained
Introduction
Supplements can feel like walking into a never-ending maze of shiny bottles and bold promises. One aisle claims to be your one-stop solution for all things energy, immunity, and longevity, while another whispers, “No, pick me. I’m your key to perfect health!”
I’ve been there. It’s overwhelming, right?
Before I got my first job in the industry, supplement stores felt so intimidating I wouldn’t even walk into them. But, once I got my head around a few concepts, they became one of my favourite places to go :).
Supplements can play an important role in your health journey, but they’re not magic pills, and they’re not one-size-fits-all. The key is knowing what your body needs, when to take it, and how to get the most bang for your buck. That’s exactly what we’re diving into today.
I’d argue (and I’ve witnessed) that too many supplements can be just as hard on the body as a diet filled processed food. Supplements are a tool, not a replacement for food. Many people who work in health food stores (or for supplement companies) easily fall in this trap…including me. I over supplemented for so long that I still react to some multivitamins!
But, as a tool, they can be very helpful :)
In this masterclass, I’ll help you take the confusion out of supplements. We’ll break it down step-by-step, so by the end, you’ll feel like a pro. We’ll uncover:
